In this regard, in 2010, Bpunvaree Pongchababnap and Heimo Rieger, the owners of TAMARIND SPRING, one of the most prestigious and well-known spas in Thailand located in the splendid and luxuriant island of Koh Samui, gave a course on massage with oil at the Bann Sabai massage centre. These are two instructors who are much appreciated in the sector and who have been focussing on this type of massage for several years, studying all its aspects and providing analyses and training worldwide.

An intensive course, during which both theoretical and practical lessons are undertaken, aimed, in the one hand, at analysing the aspects linked to human anatomy and, on the other, at applying the technique of the massage, which we may recall, is carried out using fists, elbows and forearms.

A particular treatment is indicated to relieve tense muscles (for example, on the back, along the lumbar, shoulder and back) which can therefore give considerable relief to limbs and indicated also for the legs since it produces, through specific pressure points, strong stimulation of the circulatory and lymphatic channels, draining them and deflating them.

A technique in which the aspects of relief and drainage complement each other and so ensure that this massage is “not monotonous” and particularly requested.
